BioFlex Laser

Bio Flex Laser therapy is safe and effective for treating a wide range of physical conditions. It is a particularly effective therapy for acute conditions involving musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries and wound healing. It also helps more chronic and degenerative conditions like arthritis, repetitive stress injuries, brain trauma, spinal conditions and many others.

The BioFlex treatment also known as Low Level Laser Therapy or Photobiomodulation.  Unlike high intensity or hot lasers the low level laser does not heat or cut tissue. This non-invasive and painless treatment is performed in two stages.

First surface layers of inflammation and associated pain are addressed by placing an array of Superluminous Diodes over the effected area which transmits healing frequencies of red and infrared light. The second stage involves directing tight beams of red and infrared laser light deeper into the specific areas of injury and discomfort.

Many available treatments today only mask pain and/or address the symptoms of imbalance and disease. BioFlex Laser Therapy works on the root causes of these conditions and the results are both beneficial and long lasting.

Treatment times vary according to condition and treatment protocol. Generally they run between 10 and 60 minutes. Chronic conditions require treatment over time to realize best outcome. The recommendation is 3 times per week for the first three weeks or until there is a 50% improvement after which sessions drop to 2 times a week. At 75% improvement sessions again drop to 1 time a week until the condition is resolved. Improvement is accessed at every step along the way and the actual session schedule is determined by those assessments.

Acute injury usually responds more quickly.  Session schedules are more fluid and responding to what is needed to support optimal healing.
